“I Know the Plans I Have for You,” Says the Lord

I’m feeling overwhelmed today because my schedule is off and I’m missing friends. I made a list of activities to do on a four-quadrant sheet from 10 time management choices that can change your life by Sandra Felton & Marsha Sims, © 2009. It was originally published by Revell, a division of Baker Publishing Group, Grand Rapids, MI. Spire Edition published a paperback in 2015, and the quadrant paper is described on pages 128 and 129.

It helps me when I’m having an overloaded schedule. So, I prayed today, “God, what would You have me to do?”

I decided to finish a quilt today for a baby, which I started months ago. Two of my three attempts at it went wrong. That’s when I got wondering if I chose the wrong thing to put my hand to. Then, “write” came to mind. So, I put the sewing away.

I’ve been reading Lioness Arising by Lisa Bevere, copyrighted in 2010, published by Waterbrook, New York, NY.

I bought it over a year or more ago in Hobby Lobby, prompted by the Holy Spirit. Then last week, I read a book by Brock and Brodie Thoene, copyrighted in 1997, the first novel in The Galway Chronicles about people’s lives in Ireland, Only the River Runs Free.

Between reading the Bible and these two books, I got stirred up! God is a miracle-working God and He has a plan for every person’s life. (Jeremiah 29:11 ASV): For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in your latter end.

Why did I choose to write out a four-quadrant list a few days ago? Because I wasn’t sleeping, I got up to talk to God and I felt as if He directed me to do about 10 different things.

At 1:20 a.m. I’m jotting down short sentences. “I want you to go to the store and buy grape juice to have communion with your friend.”

After a few more directions: “Make a list, and keep it before you-work your list. I will help you.”

Which I did and got some things done. Did I do it today? No, and then I felt down after reading Facebook earlier in the day. Maybe that’s why I’m writing, to be reminded of God’s plan for me today.

I know one thing, as I’ve been writing and typing, “Jesse Duplantis Live with Sid Roth” on YouTube has been airing, with two other men at the end of the presentation. I’ve been blessed watching that program, from 2017, I think, for the first time. I feel better when I include God in my plans.

May God bless you!
